Thought I'd share....
One morning you will never wake up... do all your friends know that you love them?
I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends know that you love them! Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do!
And just in case GOD calls me home before I see you again....... I LOVE YOU!!!
Live today to the fullest because tomorrow is not promised. The Will of God will never take you to where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Welcome to "A Heart of Worship!" This is where I post things that have impacted my life spiritually. When we embrace the concept of worship as a lifestyle, we have an opportunity to see God reveal Himself in ways we'd never dreamed possible! Although this site was initially designed for my sweet "Sisters," my dear "Brothers in Christ," I encourage you all to feel free to respond to any of my posts or to start a new thought too. God's Word applies to all of us! Blessings!

Are You Kathlick?

Three little boys were concerned because they couldn't get anyone to play with them. They decided it was because they had not been baptized and didn't go to Sunday School.
So they went to the nearest church. Only the janitor was there. One little boy said, "We need to be baptized because no one will come out and play with us. Will you baptize us?" "Sure," said the janitor. He took them into the bathroom and dunked their heads in the toilet bowl, one at a time. Then he said, "Now go out and play."
When they got outside, dripping wet, one of them asked, "What religion do you think we are?"
The oldest one said,
"We're not Kathlick, because they pour the water on you."
"We're not Babtis, because they dunk all of you in the water."
"We're not Methdiss, because they just sprinkle you.
"The littlest one said, "Didn't you smell that water?"
"Yeah! What do you think that means?"
"I think it means we're Pisscopalians!"

You People!!
You people won't let up off of me, will ya! Yeah, I said it, "YOU PEOPLE!" Hahahah But I am not H. Ross Perot, so I can get away with that!
I digress:
If you remember, On July 11, 1992 H. Ross Perot gave the NAACP speech in which he referred to "you people" and "your people." Hahahaha! Personally I thought the little southern cracking old man was laughable, but others did not, and subsequently Mr. Perot withdrew from the Presidential Campaign on July 16, 1992.
Back to my original thought:
YOU PEOPLE won't let me get away with posting other people's thoughts...no, that's not good enough! Since when? I thought it was good enough to share with you! Filling up my email box with "Where are you?" "Why aren't you posting?" "Somebody else wrote that, not you!" "Where's YOUR thoughts?"
Hey, dog bite it! Back off! This is MY blog--I get to write/post what I want, and when I want!
Ok. Sorry. I shouldn't have said that. Hee Hee! But having said that, I do want to acknowledge the fact that I am deeply touched that you guys care enough to email me (or ask me in person) inquiring about what's up with me....and I know it's not my blog.
So let me tell you: Actually I usually only post when I feel led by the Spirit to do so. This blog has become so much more than it originally was intended to be (in my mind) because God had grander ideas. It's more than just a blog, it's a ministry.
This semester I have doubled up and I am taking two classes this semester (and working full-time, of course!). You know that I am married, have 2 sons and a home to take care of. I am trying to finish up, so I 'll be taking 2-4 classes in the next coming semesters also.
The Holy Spirit always speaks to us, but we have to be still to hear and understand Him fully. If I am extremely busy, it is not that the Spirit has stopped speaking; the Holy Spirit is still speaking and ministering to me daily, but I don't always hear Him. My 'spiritual ears' were not receptive. I hate to be that busy, you know?
Then sometimes I receive a 'word' or inspiration from Him, but I am too busy or too tired to act upon it here on this blog. Whoa, NOT good. But that's kinda what it's been like. And that's why I've been scarce.
Y'all just pray for me, ok? Thanks!
