*UPDATE: Hey if you wanna learn how to do it 'by hand' so that you can bookmark this and other websites, follow these instructions listed on this page.

But if you want the easiest way to bookmark A PAGE ON THIS SITE, just look at the bottom of this page.

At the very bottom of this page, CLICK on the button that says:

"Click here to add this page to your favorite links."

Follow steps number 3 and 4 below. If you like, you can print this page out first to have all the instructions handy.

=========================================
Here's the original 'by hand' instructions:

How to Bookmark this site and other favorite sites in Internet Explorer!

As you read these blogs and go to places on the Web you may want to "bookmark" special pages.
Due to being asked many times 'how to' I've created this mini walk-though explaining how to create your own bookmarks in Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer's Favorites is an easy way to save (bookmark) an address so that you can return to it quickly.

Add to Favorites

You've come to a place and you know you will want to go back. Here's how to add the address to your favorites list.

First thing to do: Print out this page for reference while you create your first bookmarks!

  1. Go to the main web page of a site you want to bookmark, such as: www.aheartofworship.blogspot.com Or in the case of a blog, if you have a particular page that you want to bookmark and go back to later, go to that PAGE first.
  2. Click on 'Favorites' on the Menu Bar.
  3. Click 'Add to Favorites.'
  4. The name of the favorite is displayed in the box entitled 'name'. You may want to change the name of the web page placed there automatically by Internet Explorer, to something more meaningful to you.
  5. It is that simple!
  6. Click on Favorites again and see your newly created bookmark of your favorite web site in the list.
  7. Click on the site name and you'll see that you are taken directly there. Wow! No more looking up the address, and then having to type in the address! Halleluyah for bookmarks!

Add a Favorite to a Folder

Adding a favorite to an existing folder or creating a new one is a breeze, too.

  1. Click on 'Favorites' on the Menu Bar.
  2. Click 'Add' to Favorites. '
  3. Click on the button' Create In<<' button and choose an existing folder in the drop down list.
  4. If you'd rather create a new folder, select 'New Folder'.

You can even view your complete list of bookmarked sites by clicking on 'Favorites', then clicking 'Organize Favorites'. This will open a large window in which you can see the favorites listed. You can rearrange these by dragging and dropping them into a new order.

This is only one of the ways (and probaby the easiest way for a novice) to bookmark pages!

Have fun!
