Resurrection Day!

For me, Good Friday, through today, Resurrection Sunday are the holiest, most sacred days of my faith...from the day that my Lord and Savior suffered on the cross, taking on all the sins, suffering and shame of the world, to the day that my Savior rose up victoriously from the grave, transcending death, pain, suffering, heartache and disease.

What a wonderful God we serve! That He would sacrifice His only Son, for the likes of me and you....would you do that for me? Honestly, I have to admit that I would not sacrifice one of my sons for you!

But in my great love for my own sons, if necessary, I would gladly sacrifice myself to save either of them...and that is just an inkling of the great love that God has for ALL of us! It's mind boggling to realize that He could love all of us, sacrificing His only Son for us, as if there were only one of us to love, isn't it?

What a wonderful and mighty God we serve. Have a blessed time of remembrance and celebration! \0/
