I was reading my bible and several passages that I have read numerous times, just "stuck out," and have remained in my mind for a couple of days. Just thought I'd share a couple of them.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Wow! I wish I had the time to expound on my own thoughts here, but let's just let the Holy Spirit do His work in you. Be blessed!!

God has reconciled ME to Himself and he's not counting my sins against me. This is good news! Not only that, but in HIM, I am the righteousness of God. Wow. Thanks be to God that He made a way for me.
I remember my disbelief when I read Ephesisans 2:10. That God prepared my good works in advance made me realize how little it had to do with me. It's only His life lived through me that matters. It is His expression, not mine. The things I may consider good works are most likely wood, hay and stubble.
