Dear God, You are great, powerful and awesome, and I thank You for Your bountiful blessings. As You order my steps, show me this day the way; give me the insight, and help me to know what to do and say to reach the lost around me. May I be fresh in mind and spirit this day to follow through on leading of the Holy Spirit. I pray for Your wisdom, for boldness, for the right words to say, for understanding of their cultures, their situations, and their needs.
Please give me the means and the knowledge to influence their minds, to stir their emotions, and engage their spirits, so that Your Holy Spirit might prick their hearts and move upon them that they will call upon You to save their souls.
Please examine my life and show me any unclean thing that I have need to repent for and ask for Your forgiveness. I do not want anything to stand in the way of Your working through me to make a difference in the lives of those lost and dying. I do not want to quench the Holy Spirit. Instead, I want to be a clean and willing vessel, ready for Your use at all times for the "God appointments" that You send my way daily.
I thank you for Your endless love and Your everlasting mercy Lord. In the most precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen
