You've got to watch this video...Simply heart wrenching!

Scroll all the way down and watch the video first, before you read the following paragraphs....and if you are a bit confused after watching it, read my summary below, then watch the video again.

My summary:

This video portrays the delight of a young woman who accepts Christ and becomes a new creature in Him. She relishes in her newfound joy in Christ! Satan decides enough is enough and he jumps into the mix and starts toying with her mind. She is manipulated into turning her back on God, and subsequently struggles with the temptations of satan and his minions, but Jesus is a gentleman--He gently tugs at her, but He agonizes for her soul from the sidelines.

It becomes struggle of her heart, soul and mind as she tries to find her way on her own without Christ. She journeys through the elusive pursuit of happiness satan's way; through the love of money, drunken carousing, and sexuality. Through all of this, God never stops loving her. He continues to woo her to Himself. In her confused state of mind, she feels alone and forsaken, as she listens to the prince of darkness whispering suicidal thoughts. She comes to the point where she contemplates it, and even tries to take her own life.

Jesus continues calling her to Himself, beckoning to her spirit. She finally decides that life is worth living, and she wants to return to God. She feels the Holy Spirit calling her, and tries to turn her life around. Satan and his minions engage in a fight to the death trying to destroy her before they will willingly let her return to Christ.

As hard as she tries to return to Jesus, she becomes engaged in spiritual warfare, but she is not armed with the Sword of the Spirit (the Word) or any other part of the armor of God. She is not connected to a body of believers to pray her through this. Throughout this battle, Jesus has not left her, or given up on her. He is pulling for her, helping her make it through the spiritual warfare, back to Himself, her first love.

She is in a vicious fight fore her life and her soul. Jesus finally steps full body into the midst of the battle and takes on all the demons at once for her, just at the moment she falls to her knees and repents to return to Christ. He knocks satan and the demons out of the picture. Jesus raises her from her knees, comforts her, and loves on her, as she rejoices in Him. Once again, she is free! They walk offstage into a wonderful life in Christ.

=======================

My thoughts:

This play is a glamorized, and very compressed version of a young (and possibly a more mature) Christian's struggle to walk with Christ. Hopefully, you will glean from the video that God loves you, (enough for Jesus to die for the atonement of your sins) and that He will never leave you or forsake you. You can't hide from Him either. He will continue to call to you.

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39

Whatever you've done, no matter what satan told you, you can come back to Him. He has open arms, and He loves you more than you could ever possibly fathom. We also need to realize that it is up to us to develop and become mature Christians, learning who God is for ourselves, developing a personal relationship with Him, and how to be armed with the whole armor of God to be able to fight the attacks of the enemy.

"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit..." Ephesians 6:11-18a
