Welcome to "A Heart of Worship!" This is where I post things that have impacted my life spiritually. When we embrace the concept of worship as a lifestyle, we have an opportunity to see God reveal Himself in ways we'd never dreamed possible! Although this site was initially designed for my sweet "Sisters," my dear "Brothers in Christ," I encourage you all to feel free to respond to any of my posts or to start a new thought too. God's Word applies to all of us! Blessings!

Guess What I Got!
Okay so this post is not gonna be super spiritual...well maybe not spiritual at all...I'm going to be discussing a material object I have in my possession.
My place of employment has this awesome program for its employees to obtain computers, hardware and software. And I finally got off the pot and took advantage of it! I got my very first and very own laptop!!! Oh, shut up! I heard that yawn, " Been there, done that!" ;-)
As a student, I have been needing one for a very long time...this way I can work on assignments for school AWAY from my desk at lunch time, and not be interrupted! YEAH!!! Do you know how frustrating it can be, to have an assignment due after work, and trying to work on it during lunch time getting interrupted every few minutes by, "Whatcha doin?" or "What class is that for?" or "How many more classes do you have to go?"
This thing is too awesome! I can write on the "tablet" and convert my own handwriting to text!!! No more typing up of my classnotes by hand! Can I say awesome again?!
I did some research, and determined that I did not need the ones made for gamers, or the ones made for people into multi-media stuff, but one a little more advanced than the average basic word processor.
And here I am during my lunch hour tucked into a quiet little secluded corner at my workplace, picking up the wireless internet connection, but still where no one really sees me, writing to you...awesome! ;-)
I praise and thank God for technology, when it is used in a positive manner....and for the place where I work, and its awesome program!

No yawn here, because we haven't been there and done that. I think it's awesome. We always talk about having a laptop for travel etc., but haven't been able to justify the money thus far.
